Founded in 1999, the 600-acre ranch represents a desire is to combine the best in environmental, economic and social sustainability with a deep love of the arts and community – what some might call “articulture”. By design, it is both a working ranch and a gathering place where relationships can be built and savored. Simply put, it’s all about the love of nature, of people, of community, of music — a haven of casual elegance that is both invigorating and inviting.
Nestled in the foothills of northern California adjacent to Spenceville Wildlife Refuge, the Ranch is located one mile south of the Yuba River near historic Grass Valley / Nevada City and is just 2-1/2 hours from San Francisco.
