Events now is delving deeper into the wedding and social markets in Lake
Tahoe/Truckee.

Scott Corridan recently joined the forces of Crux Events and Party
Rentals, adding his more than 20 years in the social and wedding side of
the special events industry.  ”I believe, with Scott’s expertise, Crux will
become an all-encompassing service provider for the area’s wedding and
social-event markets, as well as meeting a variety of evolving and
ever-changing corporate needs,” Crux Event’s James Woodruff said.

Woodruff has managed global programs for such international brand names as
Red Bull, Target, Sportsmark and the X Games. In 2008, Corridan was named
by In-Style magazine as one of the top 10 celebrity event producers in the
country. Combined, their celebrations have been featured in Martha Stewart
Weddings, ABC, Town & Country, ESPN, NBC and The Robb Report among many
other media outlets. Corridan has appeared on a variety of television
programs including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, HGTV’s Design
Star and ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition.  Corridan said luxury
hotel properties will especially benefit from Crux’s new and expanding
inventory of ‘Sierra’ themed items and objects.

“It means that a luxury hotel property in Lake Tahoe can have the same
kind of assets and benefits as one in New York or L.A,” says Corridan,
adding that this is an opportunity for these properties to gain stronger
event branding as well.

finish bistro chairs and a handsome leather lounge collection. Crux now
also offers wrought iron old world chandeliers with crystal drop accents
and silk shades, as well as al fresco string lights with ruffled metal
light shades.

I have always called Nevada County my home and continue to feel fortunate to live and work here. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from California State University, Chico and a Certificate of Clothing Design from Sacramento City College. Merging these two areas of study into designing wedding stationary packages with beautiful paper, ribbon, illustrations, hand painting, typography and more that reflects the couple’s personalities is a dream for me.

If we can’t meet in person, we can meet over the phone or by email, the information is gathered in the same way. I will do some research and gather some materials and mail you one or two samples for your approval. Revisions are made and when it is approved production begins.
